Santa

We went to the mall to try and get Jo's picture taken with Santa.... she did want any part of it. On Sunday we are going to this pancake breakfast at the church my mother-in-law works at which will be having a Santa at it. I feel pretty confident about this because there will be no pressure to hurry up and I will also get to take my own pictures and how ever much I want. So she doesn't even necessarily have to be sitting on his lap... I can just get a picture of her standing nearby haha good enough for me! Here are a few pictures from before we left and a some pictures of her in front of pretty trees at the mall that matched her outfit haha

Play date!

Today... Ayden came over to play! Jo was sooooo excited!

The first snowfall!

Well... technically it was the 2nd but this was the first snowfall that stuck! Jo loved it, and I loved that she was able to play with the snow right on the deck haha. Surprisingly Mr. Jordan actually liked it too (he won't even step foot outside in the rain so this surprised me...) and he even didn't mind Jo dumping a ton of snow on him.

Oh, why, hello!

Yes I am super neglecting the blog. Why? because I feel like everyone who comes to the blog is now my friend on Facebook so they probably see all my new news/information and new pictures already so why just do it a 2nd time here? So instead of doing long blog entries I've decided I'm just going to post a couple of pictures and a short description/tidbit every 1, 2 or 3 days here... I mean I don't post EVERY picture on Facebook so it won't be too repetitive =)

Catching Up...

Are you all ready for Halloween? Rob is working so we're hitching a ride with Rob's Mom to go to a little Halloween get together at my sister-in-laws. Jo is going dressed as a "scary witch" as she would say...


My parents and cousin came over for a trip to Home Depot and some home improvement projects for my Dad haha









I asked Jo to smile and this is what I got hahahaha priceless!


As many of you have probably heard me talk about... Jo Skypes (video chats) with my parents over breakfast every single morning. Well the other day my whole family got together for a going away party for my cousin is being deployed for the 5th time, this time to Guantanamo Bay, and we got to Skype into the party! It was so much fun and so cool, it felt like we were there. While we were waiting for my Dad to call us on Skype I took a few Fall-like pictures outside...

Visitors Galore...

I haven't posted a new blog in 10 days!!! Geeez. We've had visitors almost every day so we've been pretty busy! Yesterday my best friend Kim came up with Layla to spend the night. It was so nice, we haven't seen them in what seems like forever!

The other day we heard they were having "Children's Day" at the Salem Common which is a huge park in Salem, MA. Salem is only 5 minutes away, we pretty much live right on the line... yet this is what we learned. DO NOT GO TO DOWNTOWN SALEM IN OCTOBER! Talk about tourists! It was insane, and I heard it was like this all month long. Yeah... we won't be going to downtown Salem again, it took us almost an hour just to get out of the downtown area. Anyway, it took us so long to get out we decided to just stop at a McDonalds... here is Jo peeking at Mama...

I wanted to take a picture of Jo in her new sweatshirt because I thought she looked so cute and these are the poses she came out with haha what a little ham!






Look at the flowers Kim got for me as a little congratulations on the house present! She's so sweet!


Jo was so excited to play with Layla. I told her that they would be here when she woke up from her nap, which they were, and when I went upstairs to get Jo she literally jumped into my arms out of excitement!




Then we went to Target! Because why not? haha





Then it was a dinner of blueberry waffles...



Then some nakey time before bed, Layla was getting a kick out of Jo haha...

Annnd I just took this picture because I thought my kitchen table looked pretty with my flowers next to the wreath and curtain covering the pantry haha I'm such a dork, just thought it looked nice together!
