My Little Artist/Chef...

Jo was a Mummy ADDICT today. She wouldn't go to anyone else and at some points wouldn't let me put her down. If I did she'd crawl over to me so fast and stand up and hug my leg and whine. And as I carried her around she layed her head on my shoulder, it was the sweetest thing. She sat on the couch with me and played with some toys but she would be nuzzled in my arm.

Jo wore another birthday outfit today haha as she will I'm sure for numerous days to come. Here she is standing on her new step stool today so she could play with her new easel, which she LOVES.

Jo seriously LOVES her new kitchen. Her Nana got it for her since she loves the kitchen upstairs so much. She seriously takes her cooking SO seriously, it's hilarious to watch. In the morning when we walk into the kitchen from the bedroom she gets all excited and points at it and starts squirming to get down and then she gets right to business.

Then we went back to the easel haha and Jo tried on her new sunglasses since Mummy broke her other ones, oops! Seriously, how adorable are these? (P.s. Yes, that is green marker on Jo's face. I let her write on the dry and erase board with actual markers, EXTREMELY supervised, as you'll see in the video at the end of the post.)

Since Jo was being a Mummy addict and not letting me put her down, it was very difficult for me to get dressed this morning. Finally, around 11:30 or so, I couldn't take it anymore. So I came up with a brilliant idea! I gave Jo these containers and lids that she always goes after in the "baby cabinet" (the cabinet I keep everything of Jo's but don't let her play in because I don't want all her stuff thrown all over the floor AND I keep all her food in there so she'd be emptying it all and what not... I learned that the wrong way.) Once she saw these in her crib, she forgot all about having to be with me every second and was perfectly content.

Yesterday at Target, in the dollar section, I go Jo a pink tutu, a princess wand, and cut matching hair elastic. Here she is with the hair elastic and wand but I didn't get a shot of her in the tutu. What I really need to do is get a picture of her wearing her birthday crown with the pink trim, the tutu, and the wand all at the same time! haha now that'd be something!

I've been wanting to give Josephine blueberries all summer long but they are SO expensive. Here they are $4.99 for a teeny tiny container and I just can't justify the purchase. I don't know why I didn't think of this before but I tried frozen blueberries! You definitely get more for your money. I just popped them in to the microwave for a few seconds to get them thawed but at the same time keep them cool and Jo DEVOURED them. I also bought frozen strawberries, even though the strawberry prices aren't that bad you still get more for the money and there is no added sugar or anything like that, the only ingredient is strawberry! But it sure made a mess, Jo's hands are STILL a little purple from dinner...

Then we had some fun with Jo's matching hat and her new sunglasses. Me and my husband were looking at the pictures once I put them on my computer for the first time together and when we got to the 2nd one you see here we both were HYSTERICALLY laughing. I seriously couldn't stop, there were tears coming down my face haha
