As you know, Jo and I spent the weekend in RI for my grandmother's 89th birthday! Jo was really well behaved, as usual when we go out somewhere. Apparantly she ONLYS teeths when she's HERE haha
Time for the pitures!
Here are my cousins who wanted to "hold" Jo haha
Then I went to Babies R' Us with Kim and baby Layla =) Here is Jo, staring at Layla the entire time up there, she was just like "what... and who is that????"
We had some fun shopping in Babies R' Us, Jo even got to sit on a tricycle!
And then on the way home... Jo did some more staring and Layla did some more sleeping! haha
On the 2nd day of our weekend away, Jo started off the day playing with some of her favorite things... things that aren't really toys like my makeup and ofcourse the Tylenol bottle!
Then we went to my Uncle Lee's house for my grandma's 89th birthday party! =)
And check out this beautiful, home made cake!
So when it was time to eat cake I got myself a piece and my sister helf Jo next to me. I spent about 10 minutes trying to eat my cake at the same time keeping it away from Jo who was trying to grab my plate from me. Finally, I didn't want anymore and there was no frosting or anything, just cake... so I thought, eh why not? I just placed the plate infront of Jo. She was just overwhelmed with the fact I was actually offering to her so she started getting all tense and shaking while she opened her eyes really wide and she started opening and closing her hands really fast. It was HILARIOUS to watch haha it took her a few minutes to actually take a handful of cake because she was just seriously so overwhelmed! So here are some cake pictures, you can't really see it too well but she has 2 fist fulls haha she made a HUUUUUUUUUUUUGE mess, I really should have taken a picture of the mess. When I was trying to clean up, my sister picked Jo up and "shook her out" hahaha
On the way home me and Rob stopped my McDonalds, because we're healthy like that, and look what was there!
Ofcourse I had to take her picture! haha
I love this picture because Jo as just looking so relaxed with her arm on the arm rest while she looked out the window.
Then she started getting restless so I had to give her anything "new" to keep her entertained so I gave her one of the shades from the window to play with haha it worked!
Hope everyone else had a great weekend!

that cake was pretty cool! Love all the carseat pics!!! sorry, I have to ask.... is she forward facing in her carseat????tanya
we forward face her on the long drives to RI only because of her car sickness history. But when we're only driving around here she's backwards.
So, did she do any better with the carseat turned around? It worked for Taylor - I hope it worked for her! Very cute pics. Sometimes she looks so serious!
Yeah so far so good. We've driven about a totaly of 5 hours over the past few trips with the carseat forward and she hasn't gotten sick yet so we'll just have to wait and see haha.
ohhh I see!! :o) I get carsick too its rough. - I am surprised more babies don't get carsick
