What A Nice Day!

Today was super nice out! I took Jo to a play group at the library. I was very proud of myself that I got us ready and fed and out the door by 9:30 (play group started at 10 and it take about 20-25 minutes for me to walk there). This may not sound like a big feat but it is considering how late Jo usually has ALL her meals. This is not my choice this is just when Jo will eat! Her breakfast usually spans between 9:30 and 10:30, sometimes even later! But I managed! So we went to the play group and Jo had SO much fun, we got back around 12 and ate a little and then took a nap.

Then we went to the playground after lunch and Jo. She had SOOO much fun. She even started going down the slide all by herself! She'd climb up it, sit down, and push herself down all by herself. I was so group! She'd go "WEEEE!" on her way down, it was so cute!

And here is another thing Jo likes to do at the playground... pick up the mulch and drop it through the holes in the fence.

"Bread... Bread, More Bread?"

Today we got home from the grocery store and Rob put a load of italian bread on the kitchen table to cut it but of course Jo is faster than any of us haha and she grabbed the entire thing off the table.

But this eventually led to the biggest temper tantrum I've ever seen when I took it away from her because she got mad and threw it.

Here is a video that I took this morning. Jo's new thing is singing happy birthday. I didn't get her to sing it in this video (of course!) but I did get her on video saying "happy birthday to you" and then another "happy birthday." I'm going to try and hide the camera tomorrow to catch her actually singing it!

"Princess"...

Here is Jo after she spilled her bowl of cereal all over the place. It made SUCH a mess... it went all over the table, all over her pajamas, all over her chair, all over the floor... oh my lord. And this was after she had eaten a pretty good amount! haha it was just all over. Her face looks like she doesn't know how it happened.

My parents came over on Friday and my mother brought Jo a pink headband, a new pair of sunglasses, and a cute white and pink purse that all match her Easter dress perfectly. Today she was walking around with the purse all day, she is SUCH a girly girl, she loves purses! At one point she had all 3 things on but I didn't get a picture in time! I definitely will tomorrow! But here she is with the headband and then a messy head of hair after taking it off.

Here is a video of Jo showing off her "princess"... and biting it... and saying "yummy princess" haha that's Jo for ya

Mess!!! And Videos...

I went into the living room for maybe a total of 2 minutes to check something online and left Jo in the bedroom with Rob. As I walked through the kitchen towards the bedroom this is exactly what was waiting for me; towels from the bathroom all over the place, shoes sprawled all about and of course the contents of her hamper all over the place haha. Note her hamper in the distance which is all bent over as a result of Jo diving into it to take clothes out. What is NOT included in these pictures (because I didn't discover it until later) was a quarter of her hamper all over her bedroom haha all of this in literally 2 minutes!!!

Here is an AWESOME video of Jo cracking up like crazy. She thinks it's hilarious when we pretend she's hurting us haha she's a sweet kid, really haha. I love when I fall backwards and she's sitting on top of me and she says "alright? are you okay?" haha

And here is an incredibly random, extremely uneventful, 5 minute long video of Jo eating haha it's so random yet cracks me up so much. The best part is the last minute so you can just fast forward! She hears the garage door opening and knows it's Dada coming and she just says "I love you!" when he comes in, it's so adorable!

Videos From Today

Jo's new thing is yelling "I love... CHOCOLATE!!!!" it's pretty hilarious haha. I didn't get it really good on these videos because she kept adding things after saying it but I am determined to get her on video saying just that so you can really appreciate it! It's sooo funny. And she also shows off her counting skills. Jo can say all her numbers from 1 to 20 and usually she just says them in a random order but she can say big chunks of them in order. She's doing really good with her alphabet and numbers and I think it's because of her Sit & Spin Pony by Fisher Price. It connects to the TV and you can interact with it via the pony and she's obsessed with the numbers program and the alphabet program... she could do it all day long and I think she's actually learning from it!

Birthday Party!

Today we went to Jo's cousin Abby's 3rd birthday party! Jo had so much fun!

Here she is sitting on the stairs while the birthday girl opens up her presents...

Check out the cake! It's from the same place Jo's big, fancy cake was from for her 1st birthday. They make such awesome cakes!

Here is Jo playing with the refrigerator letter magnets with some random kid haha and hanging on Nana

Opening presents! yay! Jo was enjoying sitting in the variety of "kid sized" chairs that were available. She had to test them all out more than once haha here she is enjoying the rocking chair...

Here's the birthday girl blowing out the candles!

Here's Auntie Rachel and Nana!

Here's Jo with Pepe's parents! Her great-grandparents!

Here is the birthday girl singing karaoke!

Jo testing out another chair...

Jo's Nana's cousin's grandchildren (did you follow that?) had a birthday recently to and we didn't have a chance to give them their presents until today... here they are tearing them open!

Abby's father, Rich, just recently went to Cape Town, South Africa for 2 weeks for work and brought back Jo this t-shirt! He gave it to her when we got there but then towards the end of the party decided to put it on her! haha I came into the living room and saw her and said "oh my goodness! look at you!" and she put both hands on her shirt and went "Uncle Rich!" haha.

Here is Jo wearing Abby's Happy Birthday sunglasses, haha check THIS out!...

Here are some pictures from the ride home. Jo and I were playing catch in the backseat and she was finding it quite hysterical haha
