Disaster...

Well, we're here. Vomit free might I add! But the ride down here was quite disasterous. Everytime I go to RI we meet my mom or sister in Walpole, MA which is about 40 minutes away from where we live and about 30 minutes away from my house in RI. Well, it took us TWO hours to get to Walpole! There was such bad traffic! There is this one really long tunnel in Boston that is actually a few miles long and we were in that same tunnel for about 45 minutes! Jo didn't fall asleep until an hour and a half into the drive. This was the most stressful hour and a half for me! Jo did NOT want to be in her car seat, she was so cranky and I just thought we were never going to get anywhere. I was so relieved once she fell asleep! Meanwhile... I've never had to pee more in my entire life.

So we get to Walpole and me and my mom don't just get in her var and leave because I want to take a break and get Jo out of the car for awhile. So we run into a Kohl's. I need to pee, badly. This happens to be the BIGGEST Kohl's ever. I ask where the bathroom is and it was all the way in the back, I never thought I'd reach the back this place was so huge!

After I pee, I realized I forgot to bring my baby monitor. I know Kohl's has a baby department so I figure I'll buy one to just keep at my parents. Well, it's not the kind of baby department I thought they had, it was just Kohl's. So I call my sister and ask her if she can go to Wal-Mart on her way to the house and pick one up.

Then I realize it's 5:50! Jo never has dinner later than 6 plus I gave her a really early lunch so we could leave on time. We leave, get to RI in 20-30 minutes, and Jo has dinner. I give her a banana and I turn around to make her something else and when I turned back around she was done with the WHOLE banana haha she was hungry!

Well that extra 30 minute nap really made a difference. Jo was WIRED last night. She didn't even get tired til 9! Usually, well... ALL the time, she can't stay up for a second longer than 7:30. I think I'll stick with the one nap a day :)

Jo slept in her little tent last night just fine. Today is the parade and Jo's 2nd 1st birthday party!
