Here I Am!

I'm back in action, blogging action that is! I got my new computer. Finally... I got my Mac =) I'm so excited. I got all my pictures on here from the 4th of July and Jo's 2nd 1st birthday party. There are sooo many so I'm going to try and post the best of the best.

Let's start from the beginning...

I arrived at my house to find my cat... shaved. Jewel has loooong looooong persian fur so she has to get shaved in the summer time so she can be comfortable. Look how funny she looks!

She used to be a huge ball of fur and now she's this skinny minny,

Jo didn't hesitate to start exploring and going through everyone's drawers haha she's very nosey...



Then the next day we headed to my Uncle and Aunt's for Jo's 2nd 1st birthday party and a 4th of July celebration. My aunt did such a great job decorating for Jo's party!



Okay so I just have to say this... I really think I NEVER take a nice picture. But I have to admit, I REALLY like the next 2 pictures of me and Jo. I really think these are the best pictures we've ever taken together and the best pictures I've ever taken period haha.

Jo only took like a 30 minute nap that day on the way my Aunt and Uncle's so after awhile after we arrived, it was time for her to take another nap. I went upstairs to my Aunt's guest room and I didn't want to bother her for a blanket because Jo REFUSES to be rocked to sleep without being wrapped in a blanket so I went into the closet and used a towel haha I thought it was so funny looking I had to take pictures...



Then it was time to decorate the cake! My aunt got these cute candles that spelt out "Happy 1st Birthday"




What you see in the next picture is basically what went on all day. Jo was ultra clingy. Which is totally understandable because there was about 60 people at the party and none of which Josephine really recognized. I really think it was all just too much for her because when I would take her inside where there was hardly anyone she would be perfectly fine. Look at the dirty look she's giving everyone while we sing Happy Birthday to her haha I love it.



Then it was time for... you guessed it, cake! Ofcourse Jo was all game...




After cake, comes presents! This was the first time Jo was actually interesting in what was in the bags and wrapping paper instead of just being interesting in the bags and wrapping paper and that's it haha. You can see her in these pictures actually opening her presents instead of saying "ooooh paper..." but ofcourse there was plenty of that too.








I started taking Jo inside toward the end of the day because like I said, she was a lot more comfortable away from all the comotion...




There is one thing Jo loves to do while in her car seat and that is put her feet in her mouth haha but not before taking off her shoes and socks... yes, by herself! Well on the car ride home from my Aunt's and Uncle's Jo was in an especially feet eating mood... because that's ALL she did...








Once we met Rob at the half way point and got into his car Jo instantly fell asleep. I love these pictures because I had put a blanket on top of Jo and while asleep she pulled it up o the side of her head and cuddled with it...

Well that's all for pictures. Nothing much has been going on around here. I went to the dentist today and found out I have to get all 4 wisdom teeth taken out... sooo not excited about this! Tomorrow we're going to the DMV so I can convert my RI license to a Massachusetts license... with my official new last name on it! Very exciting, I guess it's about time I got around to this haha.
