Construction Day 2

Today was the second day of construction. They did most of the wiring work, put in 6 outlets evenly spaced around the room, put in where the thermostat is going to be and put in the light switch and wired the room for an overhead light. They also finished the new wall and put up all the insulation and did some work on the outside of the window. Here are some pictures...

Do ya ever feel like you just can't catch the right moments on video??? haha Today we were playing with Jo on the bed (her favorite place) and I would leave the room then run back in and jump on the bed and she would HYSTERICALLY laugh. Then we were hiding... I'd put the blanket over my head and she'd pull it off and again, hysterically laugh haha so I figured I'd better go get the camera, well at first she was still laughing and then all of a sudden it got old to her and I just look like a fool haha


Tonight we went out to dinner and went to Lowes to pick out our paint color for the bedroom and to check out carpeting. Jo was SOOOOOOOOO good. It seemed like it was just going to be a disaster since she was so tired and cranky but the second we went into the car she was a perfect angel. She ate a GREAT dinner, as usual (even though she hasn't been eating her usual amounts since she's been teething so bad but she's still been eating better than some kids I know, even when she's teething really bad she's a good eater!) and she stayed in her high chair the whoooole time and didn't try to get out or fuss to get out or anything! I was very impressed because lately if we go out to eat she doesn't want to stay in her high chair the whole time and gets restless pretty fast. When we got back, Jo decided to empty the bottom of the stove which is one of her favorite activities. This picture doesn't include the 10 or so items she already placed into the living room!
