Mystic, Connecticut Day 1 & 2

Today was our 2nd day in Mystic! We spent it at the Aquarium, which was the main reason why we came here in the first place! It was GREAT! I love that place =) I've been going since I was a little kid. Jo didn't wake up from her nap in a good mood and when we first got there we made the mistake of going straight to a seal show, which we shouldn't have done when Jo was grumpy and in one of her moods. It was a huge stadium type place and the lights went down and everyone was yelling and clapping and there were big spot lights.... Jo got SO scared! She started flipping out and holding on to me for dear life! So we got up and stood on the side for a little bit then shortly left haha. We then ate lunch and Jo was in a much better mood after lunch! She enjoyed the aquarium so much! Our tickets are good for the next 2 days so we can go for a little bit even though our next 2 days are going to be packed, I can't wait! After the aquarium we took a ride around downtown Mystic after a little down time in the hotel, we discovered a few things we want to do tomorrow.

We deliberately gave Jo a late 2nd nap today so she'd go to sleep really late. What would we do after 7:30 with her asleep in our room!? I'd be so bored haha she ended up going to sleep at 9:40 last night and that was with taking a 2nd nap at 5. Today she took her 2nd nap at 5:40 so I'm not going to bother putting her asleep until 9:50 or so... which is in 5 minutes so I'll be taking a break from blogging in a few!

Okay... here is the downfall of letting Jo take a 2nd nap... even though she doesn't seem it at all she must get over tired because it takes forever to get her to go to sleep! Yesterday is took 20 minutes and just now it took FORTY minutes until I could put her down... must be because her 2nd nap was so late.

ANYWAY! Here are some pictures from DAY 1 AKA yesterday...












These are from the ride up here and when we first got to the hotel. As you can see... Jo didn't waste time making herself at home! Then we headed to Mystic Village which is right across the street from our hotel....








I love this picture, if you look closely you can see Rob and Jo looking at the ducks, this place was so cool! Jo would stand up to the fence and the ducks were sticking their heads out.



Here is Jo looking like an angel as she takes her 2nd nap.



This was so funny... we realized Jo was being too quiet and Rob said to me "where's Jo?" I look over and this is what I found!


And look who's ready for bed!




And now.... DAY 2!

They had these tunnels all around where the beluga exhibit was and I was surprised Jo wasn't cautious at all to go through them...



And ofcourse when we got back to the hotel Jo continued to be her mischievous little self!
